Mystery Spot in St Ignace... a Mysterious, Mindboggling Wonder

What can we tell you about the Mystery Spot in St Ignace?... Three surveyors from California, Clarence, Fred, and McCray, were out surveying one day back in 1953, and came across a spot 300 feet in diameter. No matter what these three men did, their tripod would not stay level, even using a plum-bob (I have no clue what this is lol) and a level. Everything was drawn to the East. They were constantly light headed within the area, and when not in the area, all were fine. Well, 2 years later they named this area The Mystery Spot. Opened to the public in 1955, this has been voted Michigan's No.1 Unusual Attraction by the readers of Michigan Living Magazine and has attracted over 2 million visitors.
On our last trip to the U.P we had quite the adventure. On our way up, we were leaving Macknaw City, getting on to I-75 N, and much to our surprise, we saw a wolf right there along the side of the on-ramp. Hmmm, odd place for him we thought. Once we got to St. Ignace we made our usual stop for gas, and continued on our way to Escanaba. Raining really hard and being extremely dark, with fog coming off the road, deer along side of road, and then the family of raccoons (which we had to almost come to a complete stop due to the little one who slipped in front of our car). Hmmm more oddness. We stayed in Esky for a few days, and then made the long journey home. We stopped at the Mystery Spot in St. Ignace.
We thought the other things on our trip were odd, boy were we surprised. This has to be the oddest place we have ever visited.

I would highly recommend this to anyone as a must see.
