Fun Run Car Show

Have you ever been to the Krusin Klassic Fun Run? Will you be in Escanaba, Michigan the first weekend in June? If you are stop in and check it out.

I was lucky enough to be in town for this wonderful event in 2006. Now it has been a few years since I have been there and boy has it grown.

It starts with a huge parade of beautiful cars Friday night. The parade starts at Ludington Park, the cars drive down Ludington Street in rows of 2 and then split off at Stevenson Street.

All participants of the car show then head over to the Upper Peninsula State Fair Grounds for the participants only dance. So if you are lucky enough to have a car in the show you will be able to attend.

On Saturday the gates open at umm... I think at 10am but I could be wrong. My sister Nancy and I took the three younger kids to view all the wonderful cars. We had a great time while we were there.

There is fun for all ages at the Fun Run and the gates are open until... ummm... 5pm I think. Then it is off to dinner and back to the fair grounds for the dance which is open to everyone. The button you purchase to get into the car show will admit you into the dance.

So plan a trip to Escanaba the first weekend in June and have a great time.
